By using this website or engaging the services of Apex Visual Studios, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use this site or submit a project request.

Apex Visual Studios provides video editing services. The scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for each project are confirmed in writing via email before work begins. No work begins until the initial 50% payment is received.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to use all photos, videos, and music you submit. By submitting materials, you confirm you own them or have permission to use them. Apex Visual Studios is not responsible for any copyright infringement resulting from materials you provide.

Payment is split 50/50. 50% is due before editing begins. The remaining 50% is due before the final file is delivered. Accepted methods: Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal. All prices are in USD.

Each package includes a set number of revision rounds as described on the pricing page. Revisions beyond the included rounds may be quoted separately. Revisions must be requested within 14 days of delivery.

Quoted delivery timelines refer to the first draft, measured from the date all files are received: Starter - 5 to 7 business days; Standard - 7 to 10 business days; Extended - 10 to 14 business days. The final video will be delivered following the completion of any included revision rounds. Delays caused by late file submission, unclear project scope, or factors outside Apex Visual Studios' control do not entitle the client to a refund.

The final edited video remains the property of Apex Visual Studios until payment is received in full. Upon full payment, the client receives a non-exclusive license to use the video for personal, non-commercial purposes. Apex Visual Studios reserves the right to use non-identifying clips from completed projects in its portfolio unless the client requests otherwise in writing before the project begins.

Files submitted via Google Drive are handled with reasonable care. Apex Visual Studios is not liable for data loss, corruption, or accidental deletion of submitted materials. Clients should retain their original files at all times.

Apex Visual Studios reserves the right to decline any project request at its sole discretion, with a full refund of any payment made.

Apex Visual Studios' total liability for any claim arising from its services shall not exceed the amount paid for the project in question. Apex Visual Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States.

When you use the contact form on this site, we collect your name and email address. We do not collect payment information directly — payments are processed through Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal, each governed by their own privacy policies.

Your name and email are used solely to respond to your inquiry and manage your project. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics collects anonymous data including pages visited, time spent, device type, and general location. It does not identify you personally. You can opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Google Analytics uses cookies - small files stored in your browser - to track visit data. By using this site you consent to the use of these cookies.

Project files shared via Google Drive are accessible only to you and Apex Visual Studios. Files are not shared with third parties. Once your project is complete, Apex Visual Studios will delete the project folder from Google Drive. If you wish for your folder to be deleted sooner, contact us at michael@apexvisualstudios.org.

You may request that we delete any personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing michael@apexvisualstudios.org. We will respond within 30 days.

If you cancel after the project has been confirmed but before editing begins, you will receive a full refund of your deposit. If you cancel after editing has begun, the 50% deposit is forfeited and no further amount is owed.

If Apex Visual Studios is unable to complete your project for any reason, a full refund of all payments made will be issued within 5 business days.

Refunds are not issued for completed work. If you are dissatisfied with the final result, your included revision rounds are the remedy. Refunds are only issued in the event of cancellation by Apex Visual Studios or if work was never started.

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution by email before pursuing any other remedy. Apex Visual Studios' liability is limited as described in the Terms of Service above.
